Drawing Out Our Emotions with Stephanie Houser of Healed Through Art

The Atascadero Art Association monthly meeting and demonstration for October will feature local artist Stephanie Houser. Stephanie has a background in psychology and uses visual arts to bring forth a better understanding of ourselves. Her business, Healed Through Art, opened recently here in Atascadero!

We’ll let Stephanie tell you about her interactive demonstration herself,

I will lead everyone through drawing the nine families of feelings: happy, sad, angry, afraid, playful, loving, confused, depressed, and peaceful. This will help you develop a relationship with your feelings through art and learn a new way of expressing them. It's amazing to see how you can express and change your emotions through color and drawing. It can also give new meaning and depth to the art you create.
All the materials needed will be supplied except for a notebook if you want to take notes.
