The Atascadero Art Association's annual member art showcase will be hosted by The ARTery on Traffic Way. This annual exhibit showcases a variety of artworks as well as an opportunity to meet the artist during a reception offering light snacks and drinks. Reception June 7th from 5:30-7:30.
We’re teaming up with our neighbors Gordon’s Good Games to host a painting class all focussed on miniature models! This class will feature in depth painting instruction by accomplished model painter Tyson Koch. At the end of the day, you’ll not only take home plenty of knowledge gleaned from Tyson’s best tips and tricks for painting miniatures, you’ll also take home your own painted model.

Ivy (an imported Arkfeld) will be teaching Bullet journaling; a way for creative people to be organized and organized people to be creative. In this workshop we will show you how to setup a simple bullet journal and make it your own. We'll share ideas from our own journaling experience and dive into some of the handy products that will help you customize your journal. Workshop fee covers the class and materials, including a notebook and two pens.
Oakland artist Cameron Thompson (@stayaware) will be in town to add his final touches to the new mural at The ARTery. We are so excited to have him and to welcome new art to Traffic Way, so we’ll all be hanging out for a Sidewalk Saturday listening to music, having some drinks, and great conversation!

The Atascadero Art Association monthly meeting and demonstration for October will feature local artist Stephanie Houser.
To celebrate the county Open Studios Tour, SLO Arts Council and the Equality Mural Project are hosting a FREE Cyanotype Workshop at The ARTery. EMP Muralist Cynthia Luján will be up from Southern California to guide attendees through the satisfying process of creating sun prints and watching them develop right before our eyes.
